A new year. A new set of adventures.
I’ve learnt to always look at the positives in life, so, as I’m sure everyone is today – some of us with sore heads, I wanted to look back at the positives of 2017 and set a few new goals for 2018.
Looking back at last years goals and I actually achieved nearly all of them!
This was not as hard as I thought it was going to be and I can say that I haven’t touched a drop of fizzy drinks apart from one very hungover morning in Vegas. If you want to give it ago I promise you it’s worth it! Less bloating, will be good for your teeth in the long run plus less sugar means better skin!
– Travel to at least three different places throughout the year.
I travelled to Dublin, at the beginning of the year it was so beautiful, full of history and some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. Then I took my first trip outside of Europe and hopped across the pond to Vegas and San Francisco I popped over to the Cotswolds with my mum for a mini break and of course finished the year in my favourite place Norfolk. So although it wasn’t as many countries as I had hoped, I still managed to travel a lot.
This is the only one I didn’t really achieve. I managed a few make-up jobs this year however I also became really focused on my day job so it had to take a bit of a back seat.
This is probably the one I am most proud of achieving! If you follow me on Twitter you will know I’ve come on leaps and bounds with my fitness and I can’t wait to keep getting stronger!
So seeing as I managed to actually achieve my 2017 goals it would be silly not to set new ones!
– Grow my blog through quality content.
– Go back to dancing. – I used to train 5 days a week as a ballet dancer and I miss dancing so much so I definitely want to get back to at least 1 class a week.
– Eat better – I’ve got the fitness side down now but I seriously need to figure out the nutrition side of it!
What are your goals for 2018?
