Cosying up in the Hollyhock Cafe

Always on the look out for good tea and cake.

There is nothing better than a roaring fire and a cup of tea when your hands are frozen in your pockets.

Hidden away in Richmond Hill is Hollyhock Fairtrade Cafe; it’s the perfect place to warm yourself up after blowing away all the cobwebs on a brisk walk. If you can get yourself a seat by the fire, shrug off your layers and pour yourself a cuppa.

We only popped in for a slice of cake but they do lunches as well which looked and smelt fantastic, however I am never going to say no to cake and the selection they have is phenomenal, plus they cater for vegans and gluten & dairy free people.

Moist apple pie topped with cinnamon, superb paired with a traditional tea or a cappuccino.

Almond and cherry slice tastes best with a pot of tea!

Feel slightly more plump than when we arrived and certainly warmer we set off back into the brisk weather. Next time you are Richmond way make sure you check out Hollyhock Cafe. If you’re visiting in the summer swap the fire for their beautiful veranda.
