I love doing wedding makeuup whether is for the bride or my own as a guest there’s something so glowing and fresh about it. Especially at a spring wedding when we’re all emerging from our numerous layers and berry lip tones into florals and nude lips. I always head straight for NARS Sheer Glow when I want a glowing yet flawless base, paired with Pro.Conceal I know i’ve got a base that will last. When it comes to eye make-up for weddings it depends on the outfit but my go to is a smokey neutrals look with a little bit of glitter on the centre of the lid. My Makeup Geek shadows in Latte and Wild West are perfect for this especially when layered over Illamasqua Hollow.

Wedding Guest Makeup

I love false lashes and I find either a corner lash or individuals is the softest way to add lashes into a wedding look, my favourite brands are Eylure and Ardell. In regards to the rest of my face it’s pretty much the same as my normal routine, Cream Blush in Afternoon Tea by Topshop, contouring with Hollow by Illamasqua and highlighting with Soap&Glory Peach Party. As it’s a special occasion I’ll crack out a lipstick and too make sure it stays all day MDM Flow in New Nude is my first choice.

What are your wedding classics?

  1. It’s so beautiful look! I think I’m going to take a hint of it and make my everyday makeup look softer 🙂 Ps. Have you already participated in the giveaway I’m doing? Details are in my blog.
