There is something very comforting about returning to the same spot each year and having it unchanged.
We sped off on the motorway on Friday, leaving a drizzly London behind us and heading for Blakeney, Norfolk. The annual family holiday was upon us and I couldn’t wait for a week of long walks, pub lunches and roaring fires. We chugged into Blakeney, threw our bags into our respective rooms in the cute ‘Bank Cottage‘ and headed down to the quay to watch the sun set.
T-Shirt – VANS|Jeans – ASOS|Boots – Timberland|Cardigan – Brandy Melville(similar).
Lungs filled with fresh sea air, we ambled back up to our cottage and stoked up the fire.
As always we had picked our cottage via Blakeney Cottage Company; this year we were staying in ‘Bank Cottage‘ which used to be the old Barclays Bank of the village, obviously not the huge Gringotts style ones in London but more of a fisherman’s cottage turned bank. We snuggled down into our beds ready for the relaxing week ahead.
