The little pot of magic that I’ll never stop using.
Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Hollow – £17.50
Being a pale skinned girl I found it hard to get a contour products that didn’t look orange on my skin when contouring became a big trend. Luckily Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Hollow fell into my hands at just the right time and the game changed. I’ve wittered on about this product to anyone who will listen and I use it every time I wear make-up, for the last five years. It’s a taupe coloured cream pigment which blends like a dream and is multi functional – so a minimal make up collection must have.
It’s such a simple product but yet is so useful. I love it as an eye shadow base as its creamy, smooths out the lid, hides any discolouration and is the perfect primer for shadows. I just apply with a finger all over the lid and blend up and out. As I said above it’s always been my go to contour, I prefer cream products over powder as they are easier to blend out and you aren’t left with a muddy line below your blusher. Again I apply this with my finger although a beauty sponge is good for this to. I blend with my finger and then with a tapered fluffy brush like the Real Techniques Blush Brush. It’s definitely more of a natural contour, than a Kim K style but that suits me and you can certainly build it up if you prefer a more chiselled look.
If you are a pale skinned make up wearer then you need this in your collection!
