Illamasqua Secret Weapons

Illamasqua Must Haves

These two beauties never get much publicity on my blog even though I use them everyday so I thought i’d give them a little spotlight today.

We all have products that we use everyday but don’t ohh and ahh over because well we know they work so we let them get on with it, these two from Illamasqua are classic examples.

I have reviewed the Hollow Pigment before on my blog it’s my go to for contouring especially on my pale skin but I also use it as a base on my eyes, it helps with the longevity of the shadow and intensifies the colours. Its easy to blend, really versatile and doesn’t fade throughout the day. I normally apply this with my finger – old school I know, on my eyes and then use a Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge if I’m contouring.

People might think i’m crazy for paying £16.50 for a cream eyeshadow and in some ways I would agree apart from the fact that this is the best eyeshadow ever. Really buttery texture, amazing pigmentation and blends effortlessly. Stealth is a matte cream colour that is perfect in the inner corner and under the brow bone, applied with a small flat brush its perfect for packing the colour on and then a fluffier brush for sweeping under the brow.
