A step back in time…
I will happily admit I know nothing about vintage cars but give me an excuse to put on a maxi dress, a red lip and swan about in the sun then I am there (wearing factor 50 of course) The Hanwell Classic Car Show was happening just up the road from us and knowing that the Mr would love it we headed off in the sunshine.
It did not disappoint, over 500 vintage cars, motorbikes, army vehicles and caravans lined up for people to ‘oh and ah’ over, the Mr included. I’m pretty shallow when it comes to cars and was more interested in the paint work than the engine size and could happily have driven off in a red and cream Chevrolet or a Tiffany Blue Thunderbird.

We all know I love a maxi dress especially in weather like this and this beauty from SHEIN is my new favourite number. It’s a wrap around maxi with a super high slit which adds a little flirty twist. I won’t lie I did almost flash a few people so would consider wearing a slip underneath as in the breeze it can get a little risqué however, if I was wearing this over a bikini then it would be fine. I knew I was going to be doing lot’s of walking so popped on my trusty converse, but you could also pair this dress with colour pop heels or espadrilles. I find the best way to dress up a monochrome outfit is with a pop of colour and seeing as my feet were white I added a swipe of red lipstick – shock horror I know.
