Meet my Superdrug Essentials

The products I can’t live without once they’ve run out…

Although I try and buy most of my products from smaller independent brands I still do the bi-monthly Superdrug shop to pick up some essentials. I used to love spending hours trawling the aisles on a weekly basis and picking up new items as well as old favourites but since I stopped collecting make-up and went for a more streamlined cruelty free collection I tend to pop in pick up what I need and then leave again.

Superdrug Coconut Water Shampoo. I don’t want to jinx it but this might be my holy grail shampoo. It’s so good even my boyfriend uses it! It’s hydrating, cleansing and leaves my hair super shiny so perfect for my over dyed and damaged hair. It does come with a matching conditioner which I occasionally use when my hair needs a little extra boost but I tend to use my New Dawn Lavender Conditioner which again is great for damaged hair.

Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Facial Pads. Now if you’ve read this post you might be surprised to see these in here because I love the Pixi version however these are a tiny bit less expensive and easier to pick up so I’m currently using these in my skincare routine. Soaked in exfoliating glycolic acid to help retexture and resurface skin whilst witch hazel helps to tone, plus it contains hyaluronic acid and soothing blue daisy  to reveal brighter and smoother looking skin.

Eylure Lash Pro Duos & Trios. It’s no secret that I love individual lashes, in my everyday routine. So it’s safe to say I go through them a little faster than maybe the average person. I can never find these in any other store so I always make sure to pick some up whenever I am in otherwise I have to order them online. I find that duos and trios are quicker to apply making the whole process a lot less fiddly.

B. Pure Micellar Water. I have tried so many different Micellar waters since I discovered them and this is the only one I’ve ever re-purchased multiple times. It’s quick, effective, gentle on the skin and doesn’t leave it gasping for moisture. It removes even waterproof mascara and stubborn liquid lipsticks in seconds. Simply apply to a cotton pad, swipe over the skin and voila done. Plus it’s nearly always on offer which is an added bonus.
