The best bits of the month…
February, most people will be saying ‘goodness hasn’t this month flown by fast’, or ‘how is it March already’. I on the other hand found February to be quite a long month, possibly because both the Mr and I started new jobs, I love mine, him not so much. I was looking forward to blue skies and slightly warmer weather however I’m writing this as snow is falling! So despite some rain free days London has remained drizzly and bloody freezing which means I’ve had to find some fun indoor activities to entertain myself.
Here are my five February highlights…
Took in so much culture. I am no stranger to museums and exhibitions but February I felt like I lived at the V&A – which I’m not complaining about! Friday night late openings have changed my life since I became a 9-5 girl I’ve managed to see Opera:Passion and Power as well as Ocean Liners:Speed and Style without having to deal with the crowds on a Saturday. Plus I even managed to squeeze in the opening weekend of the Kew: Orchid Festival.
Worked with Tobi. Seeing as I am on a clothing spend ban when Tobi got in touch with me asking me to style some of their pieces I jumped at the chance to add some beautiful new additions to my wardrobe. Great quality and a great range for everyones style.
Spent quality time with my family. Although my mum lives literally round the corner from me, my sister is in a completely different city so I don’t get to see her as often. She popped down one weekend and I took her out for an afternoon of leisure and luxury. It was so nice to just catch up and reminisce – don’t worry there is a blog post all about our adventures coming soon.
I started my new job. I’ve known that I would be moving jobs since before Christmas but its slightly surreal that it’s actually happened. I’ve stayed with the same company just moved sites and job titles so am still in the transitional phase working at both sites but I am enjoying the challenges that i’ve been set already. I love marketing and the world of social media so getting to work in it makes it 1ox easier to get out of bed in the morning.

March I’m off on a mini break with my mum to celebrate mothers day, still planning to do the DIY I planned last month and looking forward to the sun shining!
What are you looking forward to in March?
