The products that I can’t live without and will always have in my collection.
I looked at the last time I wrote one of these posts back in 2015 and I would only repurchase one of those items again – I won’t as it’s not cruelty free. So I thought it might be time to update you on the products that have currently captured my heart and have been re-purchased.
I’ve talked about the Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Hollow and the Powder Shadow in Stealth plenty of times before so I promise not to go on too much about them, however Hollow is the perfect multi purpose product for pale girls. A beautiful eyeshadow base as well as creating the perfect contour. Long wearing and easy to blend. The perfect partner to Stealth, which might look like any other cream coloured shadow but it’s super pigmented and looks great as an under brow highlight and inner corner brightener. After trying all the mascaras that Soap&Glory had to offer I fell in love with the third one – sod’s law I didn’t discover this one first! I’m on my third tube and love how it adds length and volume, isn’t an overly wet formula and doesn’t smudge.
I am not the biggest lipstick fan – yes that thump was 18 year old me fainting in horror at that statement. However the MDM Flow is a liquid lipstick that I will certainly repurchase once this tube is done. It’s not only a gorgeous colour but so pigmented and long lasting without drying out the lips plus no transfer. Another eye product that I can’t believe hasn’t got it’s own post is the New Cid Crystal Quartz i-colour. It’s a creamy metallic shadow that I love to wear in the centre of the lid and inner corner, super pigmented and creamy it doesn’t dry heavily on the lid and is best applied with your fingers. Any special occasion this is always on my eyes! Lastly the cheapest concealer i’ve ever purchased and it’s so amazing i’ve already re-purchased for myself and this will be going into my pro-kit asap. Full coverage, creamy and easy to blend it’s the perfect brightening concealer for under the eyes.
