When the Mr lets you style him.
I don’t normally get involved in the my other half’s wardrobe; he has a great sense of style so I tend to let him just get on with it. Recently though we had an event to go to and he asked if I could style his look for him; I won’t lie, I jumped at the chance to put him in an outfit that perfectly complimented mine.

I love navy blue more than I love black so when I saw this playsuit I had to snap it up. It’s the perfect statement item for people who don’t like to make a statement – the low cut front and even lower cut back is a statement in my eyes. I tend to keep the accessories simple with this piece although if you wanted a more boho look then lots of layered necklaces would look amazing!

Styling him was easy, taking his photo was a lot harder!
I’m not overly keen on couples being super matched however complimenting your other half looks great. I pretty much picked out my favourite items from his side of the wardrobe starting with this corduroy navy shirt from Hollister, the perfect shirt for the autumnal weather. Chinos are a great smart casual option for guys, and go with both t-shirts and shirts. I dithered quite a bit when it came to shoes mainly because he has so many options, but as I had gone for a more casual shoes I decided that these Nike Janoski were the best option.
I may be biased but I think we were some of the best dressed people at the party!
I’m thinking of letting the Mr style me for a week to see what would happen, what do you think?
