Need some date night inspiration? I’ve got you covered.
I’m always on the hunt for interesting date activities so when I found out about All Stars Bowling Lanes I immediately booked the Mr and I into our nearest one.
Jeans – New Look (similar)|Body – Topshop (similar)|Jacket – Brandy Melville (similar)|Shoes – Converse via Office|Bag – Aldo (similar).
Activity dates require both comfort and style so this combination is perfect.
Hidden away down a flight of stairs near Russel Square are the All Stars Lanes; we had booked for a late lunch so we whisked ourselves off to the bar.
No surprises I went for a gin & tonic and he went for a beer; old habits die hard and all that.
I love places that have sharing platters because it means you can try all the things that you want to get on the menu. All Stars has ‘The Everything Platter’ juicy chicken pieces, spicy wings, sliders, hot wings, buttery corn on the cob plus melt in your mouth ribs. It’s not Michelin star but its bloody good!
Who wants one dessert when you can have three! ‘Spoilt for choice’ offers you a chance to try their deliciously rich salted caramel brownie as well as the best key lime pie i’ve ever tried and an m&m cheesecake.
Enough about the food and onto the bowling.
Booking is required at All Stars but you can always ask for a second game once you’re there, it’s bowling but with an extra something that I can’t quite work out. Maybe it’s the vintage feel or the small number of lanes that give it that special VIP feel. Whatever it is I want more and I’m already planning a trip back with the girls.
