It seems to be becoming quite a tradition for us to visit a zoo whilst on holiday.
We jumped into a taxi shortly after waking up to go to Phoenix Park where Dublin Zoo is, it’s a gorgeous space so if animals aren’t your thing it’s well worth just taking a walk in the park.
It was absolutely freezing but luckily we could still take a peek at all the animals snuggled up inside.
Check out our last Zoo trip here.
We decided to walk back to our hotel through the park enjoying the late sunshine.
Fast forward a few (read many) hours and a ‘couple’ of whiskies later we’d been to Norseman, Hogans and Secret Bar with friends before collapsing in our beds with more doughnuts from Aungier Danger.
Heads a little sore the next morning we checked out of Kellys and headed out for a little culture starting with a walk through Merrion Square Gardens on our way to the Natural History Museum .
Like a smaller version of London’s Natural History Museum this is the perfect place to while away an afternoon also great if you have the kids with you. Nearby there is also the National Museum of Archeology and a National Museum of Decorative Arts & History.
Check out this visit to Londons Natural History Musuem.
We grabbed lunch at Season, amazing Italian food perfect for pizza and pasta lovers alike.
Then before we knew it we were back in the air over London and back in our little flat already planning the next trip!
Where are you planning on travelling next?
