Illamasqua Complement Palette

Have you ever seen anything as beautiful as this palette? 

Illamasqua Complement Palette – £34.00

I am a sucker for an eye shadow palette. I’m not even going to try and deny that I have more than most normal people so when this was in my stocking at Christmas I was over the moon. The palette contains Slink; a shimmery champagne colour perfect for the inner corner, Focus from the Liquid Metals line; a beautiful metallic cool brown, Forgiveness; a chocolate plum colour and Queen of the Night; a darker plum colour with shimmer in it.

I like wearing Focus as a base, with Slink in the inner corner and Forgiveness in the crease, out of all of them Queen of the Night is not as pigmented as the others and a less versatile shade for me but I think by building it up along the lash line this would look great in a smokey eye. All the shadows are easy to blend, great pigmentation and the mixture of colours means you can use it for so many different looks. I personally can see myself using Focus a lot, it’s such a unique colour.

I’ve already got my eye on quite a few of the other Illamasqua quads; Vital and Neutral I’m talking about you!
