Sometimes you just need to take some time out and have at home spa evening.

If you hadn’t noticed recently i’ve been a little sporadic with my social media and blog – bear with me i’m working on content, and that’s because my new job is hectic! When i’m stressed out or need a moment of ‘me time’ the best thing to do is have an at home spa day/night.

I tend to run myself a hot bath with either a bubble bar or bath bomb from Lush; my favourites include Dragons Egg, Butterball and The Comforter, light a candle; St Eval make fantastic ones try the Sea Salt one,you won’t regret it and the chill out can begin.

First things first whilst relaxing in the bubbles is to take my make-up off, or if i’m not wearing any which is sometimes the case to refresh my skin with the Nivea Sensitive Caring Micellar Water and then using a face mask to deep cleanse or nourish my skin. My go to is the N07 Beautiful Skin Hydrating Mask but I also love the Superdrug Peel Off ones.

Once i’ve dealt with my face it’s time to exfoliate the rest of my body, I go through so many different brands when it comes to bath products but I love the Sanctury Spa Body Scrub, smells amazing, leaves your skin smooth without feeling like its stripped layers off. Then it’s time to clean and tend to any girly things, I love The Body Shop Shower Creams because they are so luxurious and creamy at a bargain price, currently using the Coconut one but also love the Mango, Cocoa Butter and Honeymania scents.

Then when i’m smooth and clean it’s time to pull myself out of the bath before I become a shrivelled prune and add all the moisture back into the skin, I always go back to a good classic; Soap&Glory The Righteous Butter, it smells fantastic and isn’t overly greasy on my skin which is a major plus in my books.

How do you relax after a stressful day?
