Parmesan Biscuits


The best recipes are family recipes.

When of the best things my dad taught me how to do was cook and one of his specialities was Parmesan Biscuits, simple to make but perfect for any dinner party or just for a quick snack.


You will need:

– 120g of Butter

– 150g of Plain flour

Р160g of grated Parmesan 


To start with pre-heat the oven to 180 Cdon’t forget all ovens are different so double check what your one needs. Rub together the flour and butter and then add in the parmesan, keep working it until it’s a solid ball of dough. Wrap in cling film and chill in the fridge for an hour.

See I told you it was simple. Do something with your spare hour maybe take an hour out for a mini home spa or catch up on some netflix.


Roll out the chilled dough to about 1/2 cm don’t worry about being too precise; a trick i’ve learnt is if you put the dough between two pieces of cling film it stops the dough sticking to the counter.

Once it’s rolled out take a cutter and press out as many biscuits as you can.


Pop them onto a baking tray and pop in the oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Whilst they’re baking re-roll the dough and squeeze out a few more biscuits.


Let the biscuits cool and then tuck in or bake them the night before and they will still taste perfect.
