Don’t mind me just cruisin’ on a scooter on the way to my lunch date.
A sunday off and long lazy lie in hence the bed head left me and the Mr in the mood for a spontaneous lunch date.

I hadn’t really planned my outfit with a date in mind it was more just comfy clothes for hanging out at home – or borrowing my brother in laws scooter and having the best time being a big kid.
Luckily we decided to just wander up the road for a casual lunch at a relatively new place Rosie Chai.
Where east meets west; what on the outside looks like a simple tearoom once you step inside you discover it also serves the most fantastic eastern style food as well as traditional tea and cakes. I opted for the Eastern Platter which was bursting with flavour, fresh and delicious.
We sat outside in the private courtyard sipping on Turkish coffee and enjoying each others company.
Following up our main course with traditional sweet baklava and not so traditional but equally delicious danish pastries.
We strolled home already talking about all the people we would return with to Rosie Chai and wishing we had room for one more bite of baklava.
