Caring Micellar Water

Nivea Caring Micellar Water – £3.89

I still don’t fully understand the science behind Micellar waters, I remember when Bioderma was the big craze with people practically smuggling it in from France, now nearly every skin care brand has their own version. I was wandering the aisles of Superdrug which is a dangerous past time of mine and picked up the Nivea version as it happened to be on offer and my eye make-up remover had run out.

I pop a little of the Micellar Water onto a cotton pad and wipe it over my eyes and it gets rid of most of my eye makeup within two or three wipes. Mascara takes a little bit more effort but eyeliner, eyeshadow is gone is a swipe. If i’m not wearing any face make-up and just want to freshen up the Micellar Water is perfect and doesn’t dry the skin out instead leaves it feeling moisturised and clean.
