This pale girl is about to get bronzed

Don’t get me wrong I love being a pale girl however last month I started to get the tanning itch and luckily an email from Bondi Sands popped up in my inbox asking if I wanted to try out one of their products – this is a genuinely true story!
Bondi Sands Liquid Gold Tanning Foam – £16.00
Just the names makes it sound like a luxury beauty product but it actually comes with a rather affordable price tag. It’s super easy to apply, using their very soft tanning mitt. I used about 2-3 pumps per segment (and by segment I mean upper leg, lower leg etc.) It does come out almost clear so I did have to concentrate on where I had already applied so I didn’t end up streaky or patchy. Once it’s on and someone has helped you do all the bits you can’t reach – thanks mum, there is no waiting for it to dry and then hopping into the shower it dries within minutes so you can get dressed and go about your day and takes only 3 hours to fully develop.
You can apply it to your face as well I just prefer to use foundation instead, so worked it all the way up my neck and then stopped. It also didn’t have that normal ‘old biscuit’ smell on application it was more of a coconut cocktail scent instead – when I woke up the next day there was a slight hint of digestive in the air but nothing too over powering.
I always worry as a pale skinned girl that a tan is going to make me go either orange or dirty; it’s nearly always one of the two, however this one just makes you glow! Now I must admit I did end up with awkward tan hands and a large patch on my neck that was bright white but that has nothing to do with the tan; that is my own clumsiness and lack of practice, plus the neck was easy to cover with some foundation so no big deal. I love how natural the colour is and it lasted for a full week without going patchy, or looking like I’d had a dodgy spray tan.
When you want to remove it just a few scrubs in the shower and it’s like it never happened however you can use some of their other products if you want further the life of your tan. I am not a continuous tanner but I will definitely be bronzing myself up for special occasions in the summer. Bondi Sands Liquid Gold is the most natural tan I’ve ever used and with easy application it’s perfect for a first time tanner.
