The best items in your wardrobe are the ones you bought ages ago but keep on wearing year after year, this dress is an example of that. It’s a gem from H&M that I normally wear dressed up with heels but I decided to dress down for a recent date night. It’s fun, flirty – if a dress can be flirty and it’s damn right comfy; the only thing its missing is pockets.

I can always rely on my trusty, slightly battered Converse to make an outfit! I thought it might look a little like a toddlers outfit, the floaty dress with comfy shoes but I actually love it and I feel like a sophisticated, confident, young women in this outfit. It’s the perfect smart casual date night look, which can take you from dinner to the theatre to the bar – unless they have a no trainers policy but I don’t tend to frequent those.
