Nothing boosts an outfit like a good pair of colour pop shoes; they really transform this very simple top and jeans look into something a bit more special. 
Birthday dinners call for the stretchiest jeans and these ASOS ones are perfect; keeping my legs looking streamline they are high-waisted enough to hide any food babies that might occur whilst being comfortable enough to allow you to have that 2nd slice of cake. The crop top adds a little more of a party vibe to the whole look with the casual blazer making sure I don’t look like i’m going clubbing instead of a nice sophisticated dinner with friends.
I changed into flats for the journey; no-one wants to hike around London in sky scraper heels!
