Who says the beach is just for summer?
Holkham beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been too! It stretches on for miles and during the colder months without the hoards of people it’s such a magical scene.
We picked out which beach hut we wanted envious of the owners who could enjoy the beach all year long.
We walked along the waters edge, watching as dogs happily skittered into the waves.
Wondered where these birds were off to and put the world to rights with a good catch up.
With the tide slowly coming in and the sky starting to cloud over we wandered into the forest on the hunt for blackberries.
There were blackberries a plenty which we collected up ready to bake into a crumble that evening.

We adventured back through the pine forest back to the car just as the heavens opened.
Exhausted and slightly wind swept we settled down in front of the fire with some cake and coffee from Grey Seal, the best coffee in the whole of Blakeney if not the whole of Norfolk. If you find yourself in Blakeney you have to check it out!
