The festive season is all about eating as much as possible, seeing old friends and generally having a good time; which is why every year I have an early christmas with my girls pals to kick start the Christmas season.
I got a little carried away this year and had a Pinterest board with table ideas because well I clearly have way too much time on my hands; so the first order of the day was to get the table looking Pinterest perfect.
If you’re looking for cute table wear at a good price then Tesco is the place to go.
After feeling rather smug about my work it was kitchen time.
Kitchen prep done it was time to prep myself for the big night.
Jacket – Topshop (similar)|Crop Top – Topshop|Treggings – Stradivarius|Shoes – Kurt Geiger.
It wasn’t long before the guests arrived, the mulled cider was flowing and it was time for dinner.
I can not get enough of striped paper straws.
I kicked it all off with a simple but delicious baked camembert with bread wreath.
Followed by a full roast dinner with all the trimmings.
After dinner there was a lot of silliness mainly involving photo props, Pin the Nose on the Snowman and Heads Up – download it if you haven’t already its fantastic.
Soon it was gone midnight and it was time to head to bed with full stomachs and the promise of a sore head in the morning.
