In true Christmas tradition I have eaten my body weight in food and spent a large quantity of time napping in awkward positions on the sofa, if like me you still don’t want to change out of your pyjamas then have a time out scrolling through some festive snaps.

Christmas day was a pretty low key affair this year as I was working all the way through December including Christmas Eve but I thought it was worth sharing a few snaps from the day.
If you’re not feeling in the festive mood yet then this blog post is guaranteed to get you in the Christmas mood.
The festive season is all about eating as much as possible, seeing old friends and generally having a good time; which is why every year I have an early christmas with my girls pals to kick start the Christmas season.
Hampton Court is best visited in the festive season for one reason; the Christmas kitchens.
Just after Christmas the palace kitchens come alive with cooks re-creating a standard tudor Christmas dinner.
The rest of the castle gets involved and everyone is invited to court. I am a huge history geek so I love getting involved and it’s a perfect way of introducing little ones to the Tudors.
If you’re not completely exhausted then take a little tour of the Georgian half of the palace,it’s not as full on as the Tudor part but equally as beautiful.
Afterwards grab some Tudor style grub from the cafe.
The best part of visiting Hampton Court Palace is the cloaks you can wear; perfect for keeping you toasty whilst walking through the palace and fabulous for swishing!
Peace Out and Pixie Dust XO
