Down the Rabbit Hole at the British Library

“If I had a world of my own everything would be nonsense” – Lewis Carrol.

I’ve been collecting Alice in Wonderland books since I can remember and to celebrate 150 years since the publication of this gem the British Library has created a little trip down the rabbit hole.

The exhibition is free to everyone and consists of dozens of editions of the story including the original manuscript with illustrations by Carroll himself – yes I got a little over excited at the prospect of seeing it!

Not only are there dozens of editions to look at there is also a little history on the journey of the story and Carroll himself.

After returning from Wonderland we went in search of food, I am desperate to try some new places in London but we were too tired to hunt something new that day so settled for Carluccio’s in Waterloo where I treated myself to a really love steak with garlic potatoes and sautéed spinach.

To take a trip down the rabbit hole then visit the British Library and the exhibition is in the main lobby with its own pop up shop.
