Glowing skin even in the cold weather…
When the real winter weather comes around it’s my face that suffers before anything else skin care wise; lack lustre and ultra dry I really have to step it up during January. This duo has been in my arsenal for a while and it’s what I always come back to, so if like me you are suffering and want that natural glow with added hydration then carry on reading.
First up is the Balance Me Radiance Face Oil, I apply this after moisturising (morning and night) just two drops into the palm of my hand and massage into the skin, I concentrate on the forehead and cheeks as these are the first places that dryness becomes noticeable. It instantly hydrates, plumps and leaves a slight shine to your skin – not everyones taste but I love it. It contains Rosehip which helps with anti ageing, Kukui nut, a natural silicone replacement that offers highly moisturising and softening properties and Buriti which is rich in essential fatty acids this oil helps to improve skin’s elasticity, firmness, hydration. It really is ‘dewy skin in a bottle’.
I then apply the NO7 Skin Illuminator to my forehead, cheek bones and down my nose, so where I would apply highlight over foundation if I was doing a full face of make up. It’s a super lightweight liquid highlighter which blends in easily, I just use my finger tips to apply. Although shimmery it doesn’t leave you looking like a disco ball but with a more ‘lit from within’ glow. You could then apply foundation or mix this in with your foundation if you prefer the end result would be similar but as in the picture above I just use concealer under my eyes and on any redness in my cheeks and that’s my base. Glowing and a little shiny but certainly not dry and dull looking.
What’s your winter skin go to?
