I will always be a jeans girl, as much as I love a midi skirt I always come back to the denim.
In a bid to be more sustainable I wanted to showcase each month my most worn item(s), to not only prove to myself but also my readers that items don’t have to be a one wear only. Not all of the items will be bought from sustainable/ethical brands (hopefully in years to come they will be) but just to bin those items and buy new is unsustainable in it’s own way. I am striving to create a capsule wardrobe that is full of pieces that can transition the seasons and is timeless.
Jeans – Marks & Spencers.
I wrote about buying ethical & sustainable jeans here and I wanted to add a more high street option into the mix when another pair of my old skinny jeans developed a hole. So I snapped up this M&S pair and they have not left my body since. Super easy to style with t-shirts, shirts and smarter ‘nice’ tops and I love the relaxed fit. Although they are ankle grazers I can definitely see these being an all seasons piece with flat, heels & boots all working with them.
This seems like quite an obvious most worn item but I think getting the right cut of jean is important for longevity within your wardrobe.
