You Can’t Beat a Striped Top

Simple yet stylish.

Here to give you an old school blog post; a simple outfit of the day because I felt chic in these pieces and wanted to share. So no deep thoughts or style advice just me in some clothes.

I haven’t worn this much black in about 2 years, but I loved this top from SHEIN so much that I couldn’t wait to style it – I know shock horror Kate is wearing a striped top. I love the little red heart in the corner which adds a subtle pop of colour and helped pull the jacket into the outfit. It’s the perfect casual piece for your winter wardrobe and I can see myself wearing it with blue jeans or under my dungarees without a jacket as we head into spring time. If you’re not a fan of black and white it comes in various colours. One thing to note though is the fabric, it’s a spandex, polyester, cotton mix so does not have too much weight to it. I’ve got a thermal on underneath so if you live in the UK this is one for layering or just wait till the sun starts shining!
