As a petite lady I never thought I would be writing a post about why you need a maxi dress in your life especially if you are a capsule wardrobe kind of a girl, but with this London heatwave ongoing and not wanting to shave my legs everyday they are a must in my current wardrobe.

SO we all thought it was cooling down a little and I even posted an outfit of me in jeans but clearly I was getting ahead of myself as it looks like we’ll be having an Indian summer this year. I love the sun but not when it makes you sluggish and sticky so maxi dresses when you can’t be bothered to shave your legs are an absolute life saver! It’s instant style with very little effort which is perfect for me, you can dress them up or down with heels and accessories, plus lot’s of space to eat many many ice-creams.
I happen to have three in my wardrobe from various sales throughout the years and this summer is when I’ve got the most wear out of them, so if you’re looking to invest in something to survive the heatwave check out my current favourites…
