At Sea with the Seals

I think I’d like to come back as a seal, comfortably chubby and spending most of the day lounging, sounds like a good life. 

 It’s something of a tradition to go seal watching on the family holiday and this year was no exception. We booked with our favourites Beans Boats and headed out on the slightly choppy waters, wrapped up in multiple layers and waterproofs on.  As we were quite late in the season and the sun wasn’t brightly shining they weren’t all basking on the beach but bobbing up and down in the water. Popping up to see what all the fuss was about before effortless swimming under the water.

Being out on the water meant that I popped on as many layers as possible including this gorgeous jumper from ASOS. It’s perfect for fitting layers underneath without looking like the Michelin Man plus the neck can be buttoned up to keep in the warmth if need be. Bored of seeing my Timberlands yet? Get used to it they are my current favourite shoe.
