The Hive at Stow

They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and it is, if it’s tasty.

A slightly shorter post for you today but I couldn’t not feature The Hive; they need to open in London!

Just down from our hotel we spotted The Hive; I was taken in by the sweet logo, lilac paint and words ‘locally sourced’. We were not disappointed!

I could have eaten everything off the menu and if i’d been with the Mr we probably would have ordered more than we could handle. I went for Homemade Beans on sourdough with cheese, paired with a classic English Breakfast tea. Words cannot describe how good this was you’ll just have to go there and find out for yourself!

We wandered around the village ducking in and out of cute little shops. I would highly recommend buying a large amount of cheese from The Cotswolds Cheese Company – if they have Whiskey Smoked Brie buy some immediately. For gifts The Baobab Tree or Meggies and if you have a sweet tooth pop into Cotswolds Sweet Company

Sorry there isn’t more to this post we sent a good chunk of the day on the motorway racing back to London before rush hour.
