Mums Know Best

Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mothers out there, to celebrate it I thought I’d let my mum do the talking on todays post!

Today i’m showcasing some of my mums favourite products; starting with something we both love and use the Jane Scrivner Nourishing Cleanser, perfect for taking off make-up or if you’ve had a long day and just need to feel fresh again, this removes all impurities leaving your skin feel soft, moisturised and clean, but without feeling like your skin has been stripped!

For as long as I can remember my mum has used The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter, these have been around for yonks so not much explanation needed as to why these are great, they are super moisturising and don’t break the bank.

If i’m ever stuck for a gift for my mum – which isn’t often, I know that a tube of Connock London Kukui Oil Hand Cream will always go down well; it smells divine and kukui oil has fantastic moisturising properties plus it’s non greasy so great for anyone who is on the go!

In terms of make-up my mum is pretty low key; i’m not entirely sure where I get my love of smokey eyes from! Her base of choice is the Madara Moon Flower Tinting Fluid, it’s a great lightweight base for more mature skin as well as anyone who prefers a lighter coverage. It illuminates and hydrates the skin perfect for everyday wear.

The last product is my mums favourite part of her daily routine, she won’t stop raving about it! The Jane Scrivner Firming Body Serum; it conditions, softens and tones using natural oils. She uses it just before bed not only for its anti ageing benefits but also as the scent is super relaxing, perfect for sending you straight off to sleep.
