What better way to watch Star Wars than with a picnic and in the open air.
Now I had heard of the Luna Cinema before but hadn’t got my act together to actually go but when an e-mail landed in my inbox advertising Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back I knew it was the perfect date night and had to book tickets. We packed a picnic and headed off to Hampton Court,
indulged in a few cocktails and waited for the sun to set and the adventure to begin.
Watching a space adventure with the night sky above you is a truly magical experience and perfect with a loved one or a group of friends. Wrap up warm it can get very cold and as we are in the UK prepare for the rain – luckily we didn’t have any.
Luna Cinema is nearly over for this summer but it happens every year and I will definitely be attending some more open air screenings. Check out their website for screening dates.
