Why just spend an evening in London why not the whole day?
I kick started my friday with a coffee and a cake in the members lounge of the V&A, hidden behind a mirrored door in the depths of the museum art fiends, fashionistas and history lovers sip coffee over newspapers or with a cake and a friend.
We went to the preview of the exhibition Undressed: A brief history of underwear; and I would highly recommend going to see it; tickets are only £12.00.
Coat – Jack Wills (similar)|Jeans – ASOS|Shoes – Converse via Office|Bag – H&M (similar)|Scarf – Hush|Glasses – Specsavers|Unruly Mop of Hair – Models Own.
We lunched at Le Pain Quoitdien; which I ramble on enough about but try the Cobb Salad its fantastic.
Before I jumped on another tube to meet up with the Mr who had a Friday night off.
It was too early for dinner so we dived into The Rum Kitchen for a few cocktails to kick our evening off; starting with a Twixt Golden Jaguar for myself and a Romero Zombie for him.
Thai Kick Punch.
Ting Wray and The Universe.
Grab a seat at the bar and watch the magic happen right in front of you.
Feeling a little giddy we crossed the balcony to Oka for a quick bite of sushi.
I could have eaten everything on the menu but I highly recommend the Dragon Roll; juicy prawns and asparagus wrapped up in crisp seaweed, covered in sticky rice and topped with avocado and spicy mayo.
Tuna Rice Burger Sliders; toasted rice patties with katsu tuna paired with spicy ketchup and Japanese mayo.
Simple but fantastic Tuna Hosomaki. The White Fish and Spring Onion version of this is also fantastic.
Full to the brim we headed home ready for bed.
I was just in London and had a wonderful time! I loved this post 🙂
