Did someone say pizza date?
A rainy Monday saw the Mr and I stuck for something to do so we braved the elements and headed to a local of ours which does fantastic food. The Aleksander.
I went for the Pancetta Pizza, beautiful hand stretched dough smothered in tomato sauce, topped with cheese, bacon and fresh pesto. Simple but perfect.
The Mr choose the Calzone which was filled with goodness topped off with a drizzle of fresh pesto. We also ordered a side dish of calamari but we polished that off before I even thought about taking a photo.
We finished up our lunch date with coffees and a game of Catan – seriously if you’ve never played this its fantastic and highly addictive.
