Sugar Crush Spritz|Review

Soap&Glory Sugar Crush Body Spray£4.00

I love the Sugar Crush body wash so when I saw they had released a body spray in the same scent I had to buy it, because who doesn’t want to smell like a key lime pie. Sugar Crush is a combination of Vanilla Musk, Sweet Lime and Ginger and I am currently spraying it every single day.

I love the new travel size bottles because it fits perfectly into my handbag for on the go spritzing. Also the packaging although cute is a hardy plastic so no spillage or breakage on the go.

Soap&Glory have brought out five travel size body sprays in their five signature scents so there is something for everyone and at only £4.00 you can hardly say no!

Pull&Bear Bracelets – £9.99

I am not normally a bracelet wearer at all, they annoy me and I always forget to put them on; but since buying this pack of 4 from Pull&Bear I have not left the house without them. I love how they all go together but you could also wear them alone, they’re not too heavy and don’t clink about. My favourite is the chunky one with the blue stone in the middle as it matches one of my rings that I always wear.

Priced at only £9.99 I may invest in more and hey who knows I might be come a full time bracelet wearer.

Are you a bracelet lover or a hater?

We’re going to the Zoology museum…

P1220899

As something of a museum geek it was not unusual for me and my museum pal A to be wandering down a backstreet of London towards the Grant Museum of Zoology.

P122089211224480_10155580782255220_8240046431148953033_n

Linked with the University College London the museum is host to around 67,000 specimens. Now A and I seem to be attracted to weird collections – check out our visit to The Natural History Darwin Collection. The prospect of animal skeletons and samples preserved in fluid caught our attention.

P1220893P1220895

Just one room is home to all the specimens with cats and dogs sharing a cabinet and some Dodo bones chilling with a sabre tooth – if Night at the Museum was real then this would be the horror movie version.

After working up quite an appetite filling our brains up with knowledge we jumped on a tube and headed to Camden and my all time favourite seafood restaurant Seawise – read my full review here. I opted for an early afternoon G+T and a lobster tail.

Extra Super Lash|Review

Rimmel Extra Super Lash£4.99

We all know I love mascara and I love a budget buy even more, this little gem from Rimmel is the perfect combination of both. The Extra Super Lash helps build up a long and thick lash look, although not great for nights out this would be perfect for an everyday look.

One of the best properties of this mascara is that you can layer it up without it going crispy, gunky or clumpy – check me out with my adjectives. The tapered wand means that you can get super close to the root of the lash and into the inner corner.

Sometimes budget is better!

Pure Purple|New Hair

P1220884

Yes, I have dyed my hair again – last month it was Vidal Sassoons Dark Red Violet and this month its the Live Colour XXL in Pure Purple – a vibrant purple with a raspberry feel to it. I did bleach my hair before hand with the Colour XXL Absolute Platinum which really helped intensify the colour.

I used one box of the Absolute Platinum concentrating it mostly on the roots and then working it through the lengths of my hair so that it would add a little bit of more texture and tone to my hair. I then waited over night before using two boxes of the Pure Purple – I have long and thick hair.

I love my new hair colour, it’s a little bit brighter than I expected but once I settled into my hair I embraced the brightness and love how it adds a pop of colour to my monochrome wardrobe.

Winter Baby Colour Show|Review

P1220383

Maybelline Colour Show Nail Polish in Winter Baby£2.99

Now if you hadn’t already noticed I am a little bit in love with the white nail trend but I totally get that it’s not for everyone! Whilst browsing the aisles of Superdrug I picked up this offering from Maybelline hoping it would be an opaque white. It wasn’t but was more of a translucent milky white similar to my beloved Bourjois Coton Sur Ton, it’s a great colour for people who want to try the white nail trend but aren’t completely sure about it.

I use about three coats to get a good colour and it takes about four days before any chipping occurs. At only £2.99 its hard to say no.

After a good nights rest we were raring to go for our 2nd day in Disneyland Paris.

P1220769P1220770

We stayed at the Santa Fe Hotel which is in the lower price bracket but the rooms and facilities were still top quality. I am never really super bothered about hotel rooms because I never spend that much time in them.

We started the day off with some character spotting before moving onto some more rides.

P1220835P1220833P1220826

I prefer the main park over the studios but it does have more of the bigger roller coasters if thats what you are into.

P1220842P1220843P1220844

After meeting Mickey we thought it was only fair to pop back to the park and see Minnie as well, before grabbing a delicious passionfruit ice tea and heading back to London.

I’m already missing my second home and can’t wait to go back!

P1220424

The bank holiday weekend seemed like the perfect opportunity for my sister and I to hop over to Disneyland for a few days. After a few hours on the train and quickly checking into our hotel – more on that later – we got stuck into the meet and greets starting with Thumper and Miss Bunny.

P1220426P1220441P1220443

After much hugging we managed to catch the end of Goofy’s Garden Party Parade where all the characters were out in their spring outfits, before hitting up some of the rides.

P1220456P1220506P1220501

I love Disneyland at spring time (check out my photos from last years visit) the extra attention to details make everything even more magical.

P1220463P1220471P1220470

Before I knew it, it was time for the Disney Magic on Parade. Yes I did stake my place at the front half an hour before it started and yes I did squeal throughout.

We had worked up quite an appetite so stopped off at The Lucky Nugget a childhood favourite to refuel on some good old fashioned burgers and ice cream – calories don’t exist at Disneyland.

After some (read a lot) of shopping it was time to get a seat for the grand finale. Disney Dreams, which has to be on the most beautiful things I have ever seen.

1970’s Aztec|OOTD

Playsuit – H&M|Shoes – TkMaxx|Bag – Accessorize|Earrings – Claires.

I feel like a 1970’s aztec in this outfit.

With the weather finally getting warmer in London I’ve started to think towards wedding and garden party outfits. Jumpsuits are a great alternative to the classic summer dress, perfect if the legs aren’t quite summer ready and if the evenings get cooler you’ve got a bit of extra warmth.

Sadly this playsuit is from last summer but there are plenty on the market nowadays. I love pairing the black and white with colour pop shoes. Again these are very old but with the sun starting to shine I can imagine there will be plenty of bright shoes coming into the shops.
