Exploring a Classic at the V&A

Return to the 100 Acre Wood with the V&A

London is all lit up this Christmas bringing its beautiful buildings to life in the later hours and seeing as the V&A opens until 10pm on a Friday, I couldn’t help but snap these illuminated photos on the way to the preview of the new Winnie the Pooh exhibition at The V&A.

Ask any adult or child who lives in the 100 Acre Wood and they will reply ‘Winnie the Pooh’, the beloved slightly tubby silly old bear and the V&A have created a beautiful multi sensory exhibition exploring the creative partnership A.A Milne and E.H Shephard. I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone going or thinking of going so I didn’t snap too much of the content but it’s full of sketches, memorabilia, letters and things for little ones and big ones to interact with!

It’s on until the 8th of April so plenty of time to plan a trip to the big smoke. It’s one of the loveliest exhibitions I’ve ever been to,brilliantly executed and full of so many details. Perfect for young, old and of course bears!
