Nestled away in Kingly Court just off Carnaby Street is one of the most amazing restaurants Le Bab.
I would highly recommend booking if you can but the Mr and I braved it as walk ins and managed to get a bar table before the place filled up for dinner service.
Kicking off the night with some amazing cocktails made by in house mixologist Troy. The Mr went of a Passionfruit Caiprinha.
I opted for a Gin Basil Smash, beautiful mix of flavours and the basil adds such an interesting twist.
We skipped starters and went straight for the Babs – but I am vowing to go back and try their Lokma Doughnuts.
The Mr’s choice of Corn Fed Chicken Shish; chunks of chicken paired with squash hummus, chicken crackling and carrot tops.
I went for the Free Range Pork Shawarma; melt in the mouth pork, with burnt cabbage pickle, crackling and golden beetroot smothered in pork aioli.
We couldn’t resist a naughty side of Fondue Fries. Cheesy Heaven!
Washed our dinner down with more cocktails this time Pomegranate Mojito’s the perfect combination of sweet and sharp.
Finishing up our lovely early evening dinner with Creme Brûlée spiced with cardamon, cinnamon and cloves.
Not too sweet, not too spicy.
Full to the brim we walked back in the late sunshine vowing to go back as soon as possible.
Don’t tell too many of your friends otherwise they won’t have room for you!
