If you follow me on Instagram then you may have noticed that there has been rather a lot of food pictures on their recently. I have fallen in love with cooking and I thought I would share with you some of my foodie snaps and where I found the recipes for them (if possible), sadly I am not advanced enough to be writing my own yet.
Hello Fresh – Wandering Foragers’s Wild Mushroom Risotto
This is a healthy gluten free vegan risotto by Hello Fresh a great food delivery service which each week delivers ingredients for tasty yet healthy meals right to your doorstep, luckily the recipes are online! If you are a fan of mushrooms and cheese then this risotto is for you plus it only takes 30 minutes to make.

The Easy Roast – Various websites.
The thought of cooking a whole roast can be pretty daunting however I am well practiced in the art of one tray roasting. I have used various websites but my favourite is the BBC Good Food recipe, it uses a whole chicken but I prefer to substitute in two chicken breasts; less waste. Sunday roast doesn’t need to be a chore!

I love Sorted Food their web series is amazing but I also recently bought their book Beginners get Sorted its amazing for people who don’t normally cook or for someone who needs some basic recipes that will still impress.
Basic Homous – Sorted Food
I never knew how easy homous was to make but it really is super simple and takes around five minutes, plus its packed full of protein and is the perfect healthy snack or pre-dinner nibble. Sadly I can’t find the recipe online but I would highly suggest buying the book!
Smokey Bacon and Tomato Soup – Sorted Food
I had also never made soup before and yet again Sorted proved how easy it is to make. I love this twist on the classic tomato soup; adding bacon gives it this whole other flavour. I would suggest adding some double cream to the finished product as it makes it much more, well creamy!
Sausage and Three Bean Stew – Sorted Food
Not the most photogenic dish but this is an amazing winter warmer. Stuffed full of protein and fibre it may not look super healthy but it is. Again a very easy dish to make but you will have to buy the recipe book to find out how.

Squid with Pasta in Tomato Sauce
Saying I haven’t written any of my own recipes this is something I cobbled together. I love seafood and squid is one of my all time favourites luckily I can get frozen squid tubes which I fry before adding to some gluten free pasta with a shop bought (shhhh don’t tell anyone) tomato sauce.
Squid in Black Bean Sauce with Noodles
Again a very simple dish that I love to have for a quick lunch. Stir fry the squid with some vegetables before adding some noodles and yet again a shop bought sauce. Cooking really isn’t that difficult especially when all you have to do is chuck everything in one pan and bam its done!
Anyone else got any recipes they think I would love or do you run a cooking blog, leave your links in the comments box because I would love to read them!
Peace Out and Pixie Dust XO
Love your pics! I always find lots of food pics on Instagram comforting – unfortunately I don’t post much that I make myself! 😦
I love seeing what other people cook, whats annoying is when the outcome doesn’t look to ‘photogenic’ but still tastes amazing! X
YES! I feel that pain!
All of these recipes look and sound amazing. I love the variety that you have tried. I absolutely love the Sorted food website and channel those guys are amazing with some of the creations they make.
They have really helped me get into cooking 🙂 The cookbook is one of my best buys!
