Best concealer ever?!|Maybelline The Eraser Eye

 Maybelline The Eraser Eye Concealer£7.99

Its not secret that I love concealer and this beauty from Maybelline is fast becoming a holy grail product.

The main selling point for me is that it is super full coverage, it’s perfect for use on dark circles but also on any blemishes or imperfections. A super creamy formula that blends perfectly with either a beauty blender or your fingers. I know a lot of people are turned off by the sponge applicator but that really doesn’t bother me at all. The only thing that slightly annoys me is that it only comes in two shades – Light and Nude(I think there may be more shades in the US). I have both but Light is really the only one that works on my pale skin tone, Nude is too dark so I use it as a cream contour.

My Top 4 Cream Blushers

Revlon PhotoReady Cream Blush|Soap&Glory Sexy Mother|Topshop Cream Blusher.

Cream blusher is not everyones cup of tea and it certainly wasn’t mine to start out with but I have been completely converted! Easy to blend, full of pigmentation and with a better staying power than powder blushers here are my favourites.

Revlon PhotoReady Cream Blusher in Pinched£7.99

The first cream blusher I ever tried and the easiest to use for anyone just starting out. Its a very natural peach blush perfect for fair skinned girls but would also look great on darker skin. Easy to blend, best applied with fingers for a fresh faced look.

Soap&Glory Sexy Mother Blush in Onamatopecha£9.00

If you prefer a more shimmery cream blush then this offering from Soap&Glory is for you, slightly less creamy than the Revlon one but still blends easily and is full of pigmentation. I love applying this one with my fingers and then buffing it in with a stippling brush.

Toshop Cream Blusher in Afternoon Tea & Head Over Heels£7.00

The cream blushers from Topshop look pretty scary and bright in the pan but once they are applied – I love applying these with the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge they become gorgeous natural blushers that blend easily. Also the packaging is adorable! Afternoon Tea is a dolly pink whereas Head Over Heels is a more peachy orange colour.

What are your favourite cream blushers?

Sleek Corrector&Concealer Palette|Review

P1210286

Sleek Corrector&Concealer Palette in Shade 1£7.99

I love Sleek products so when I saw a product I hadn’t tried before I picked it up excited to see what it would be like. Sadly I was a little disappointed in this conceal trio.

The palette comes with a corrector; a very light and very pink corrector which is supposed to hide discolouration as well as brighten under the eyes. I wouldn’t put this under my eyes as it turned white on my skin and looked very unnatural. Next is the concealer, this I can use under my eyes and on any blemishes but the very wet formula puts me off. Then the setting powder which is nothing special but I can’t really fault it.

The main disappointment is the formula, it’s super wet in the palette but once on the skin its stiff and hard to blend in.

Has anyone else had this difficulty or is it just me?

Hypnotic Red|Review

L’Oreal Colour Riche Nail Polish in Hypnotic Red£4.99

I don’t normally blog about nail polish but these Colour Riche polishes are amazing. They are by no means new to the market but at only £4.99 a pop they are worth getting excited over. The colour Hypnotic Red is a gorgeous dark cranberry red and the finish is super shiny giving the appearance of gel nails. The thick but not overly gloopy formula is the real selling point, fast drying and only one coat needed so great if you are in a rush but two coats gives a slightly stronger colour.

If you haven’t picked one of these up then why not!

Naked Beige|Review

Soap&Glory Super-Colour FabuLIPSTICK in Naked Beige£9.00

It may be a new year but I am still loving the 90’s nude lip trend and this beauty from Soap&Glory is my new favourite. It’s definitely a warmer beige than some of them on the market with a distinct red undertone. The formula is similar to MAC Cremesheen very moisturising and creamy due to the shea butter and vitamin E in the formula but with a more Satin finish. Perfect for people who want moisture without high-shine. The pigmentation is also amazing and with a pretty long wear time (around 3 hours) it’s the perfect everyday lip.

I love pairing this with a bronze smokey eye or lashes of mascara with a naked lid.

Have you tried this lipstick which shade is your favourite?
