1970’s Aztec|OOTD

Playsuit – H&M|Shoes – TkMaxx|Bag – Accessorize|Earrings – Claires.

I feel like a 1970’s aztec in this outfit.

With the weather finally getting warmer in London I’ve started to think towards wedding and garden party outfits. Jumpsuits are a great alternative to the classic summer dress, perfect if the legs aren’t quite summer ready and if the evenings get cooler you’ve got a bit of extra warmth.

Sadly this playsuit is from last summer but there are plenty on the market nowadays. I love pairing the black and white with colour pop shoes. Again these are very old but with the sun starting to shine I can imagine there will be plenty of bright shoes coming into the shops.

The 90’s called they want there outfit back.

I had a staff party a few days ago and I clearly decided to take a trip back in time to my childhood and the 90’s with my outfit. I love pairing these boyfriend jeans with the barely there style shoe for instant chic also these beauties from Kurt Geiger are so super comfy. I recently picked up this crop top from H&M,the shape is a little different to what I normal wear but it clings in all the right places and cuts off perfectly at the waist.

It’s a super simple outfit but still makes somewhat of a statement.

London Southbank is one of my all time favourite places to go and recently I went there with some of the family for a day out at the Aquarium. Its still not entirely spring in the UK yet so I wanted to layer up so wrapped up with a pussy-bow blouse, a jerkin that you can’t see and then my favourite military style coat from H&M. This look is slightly more sophisticated than what I normally go for but I really love it. I went for trusty favourites on the bottom half with my ASOS Ridley Jeans and H&M Chelsea Boots.

My current obsession is the film Vampire Academy and part of the obsession is how bad ass Rose made her school uniform; so I took a little bit of inspiration to create this preppy monochrome outfit which has a slight edge.

My favourite thing about this outfit are the shorts, the scalloped edge makes it a little different to all my other black shorts and at only £12.00 there is no excuse not to snap them up! Super comfy and a little bit high waisted without being restrictive or super short.

Nothing beats a white collar with a black jumper and the different textures add another something to the outfit. The jumper is a little cropped number that I picked up in the H&M sale, great for high waisted bottom halves, helping make the body look a little longer than it actually is. To get that edgy Rose Hathaway vibe I added my chunky ASOS Roxy Boots.

Have you seen Vampire Academy?

Blue Jeans White Shirt Walked Into The Room You Know You Made My Eyes Burnt

I am ready for it to be spring now in the UK and this will be something I will be wearing on a regular basis when the sun does start to shine. It’s a great smart causal outfit with the relaxed jeans and smart heels paired with my favourite bowler hat which will definitely be making a proper come back once the wind dies down. As the outfit is so simple you could definitely go to town with accessories but I kept with the simplicity theme wearing my silver Tiffany pendant along with my usual Accessorize rings.

ASOS ROXY Chelsea Ankle Boots£35.00

I am a shoe addict and black chelsea boots are my weakness, I have had these babies since Christmas and seeing as I have finally broken them in I thought it was time to introduce you to them. They are a little chunkier than my others – diversity is key when you have an obsession and I love the platform. The other key selling point of these was the elasticated back of the boots, again its different to others on the market but also makes these much more comfortable which is a plus if you want to wear them for a long period of time.

Anyone else got a black chelsea boot obsession?

Lazy Sundays|OOTD

 Mickey Mouse Shirt – H&M|Cropped Jumper – H&M|Jeans – New Look|Shoes – Converse|Rucksack – DKNY|Sunglasses – H&M

You know its a lazy Sunday when your hair is in a high bun and the boyfriend jeans are one. I love this relaxed preppy look for days off. The star of the show is actually hiding underneath my jumper and its this cute cropped shirt from H&M which is covered in Mickey Mouse faces, I love Disney but find wearing Disney clothing pretty hard to keep ‘sophisticated’ and this cute shirt is the perfect way to have that hint of Disney in my wardrobe. Boyfriend style jeans are not the most flattering style on my legs but they are so comfy that I will let that go. Perfect shoes for a Sunday are Converse – the best shoe for everyday! and then for all my junk my DKNY Rucksack, how this is not covered in dirt yet I do not know!

What is your go to lazy Sunday outfit?

Graduation Dinner Throwback|OOTD

This was taken back in 2014 and was what I wore for my graduation dinner. I thought I had lost the photos but they resurfaced so I thought hey why not post them.

Nothing beats a black chiffon shirt it can automatically make a casual outfit look smart. I tucked it into this super cute floral skort from New Look; I love a skort all the femininity of a skirt with the security of shorts in case you are as clumsy as I am and tend to flash people if you’re not careful. To lengthen my legs a little I donned my favourite black boots from ASOS, they are a really chunky style so add a slightly ‘rough’ edge to what could be quite a preppy outfit. To finish the outfit I popped on my trusty bowler hat from Topshop and added this awesome dinosaur necklace, revealing a little of my inner geek.

I had plans for New Years Eve for the first time in four years, I was over excited to say the least. Dinner at the local pub and then on to drinks so I wanted a party outfit that wasn’t overly dressy but still a little bit special. The ASOS Ridley Skinny Jeans are the comfiest jeans ever so are perfect for any dinner parties and paired with the colour pop shoes make your legs look longer than they ever have before.

It may be winter but I whipped out a crop top, I wasn’t showing leg so thought stomach would be second best. This cute textured crop top is from New Look and I love the bandage style. To keep myself a little more covered up I went for this lovely H&M kimono that adds a slight bohemian twist to the outfit and can hide a multitude of sins – starter and a pudding! Accessories wise there is quite a lot going on with the outfit so I just added a trusty bowler hat to finish everything.

What did you wear for NYE?
