Breton and Bouffant|OOTD

Jeans – ASOS|Top – Topshop(similar)|Shoes – ASOS (similar)|Jacket – Gap|Sunglasses – H&M.

As much as I love dressing up sometimes simple outfits are the most chic. I am wearing my staple ASOS Ridley high waisted jeans which are so comfortable with my much loved baggy breton top, for me comfort before style is very important – am I the only blogger who thinks this? Although there is still some late sun my early morning commute is a little cool so I like to sling on my GAP mens jacket to keep me warm but it looks good just draped over my shoulders as an accessory when the sun decides to shine. I don’t always wear huge platforms and especially not for long days at training but I just can’t seem to keep them off my feet for photos.

Apocolips Lip Velvet|Review

Rimmel Apocolips Lip Velvet in Atomic Rose – Β£6.49

Just like Revlon did with their Colourburst Matte Balms, Rimmel have done the same with their famous Apocolips creating Lip Velvet. A velvety, matte liquid lipstick with great pigmentation and a wear time of around 6+ hours that’s with eating and drinking these are great for people who have a busy lifestyle and love matte look lips. The colour Atomic Rose is a beautiful coral colour which is perfect for both night and day. There are four Lip Velvets in the range and I want all of them!

Have you tried the new Lip Velvets from Rimmel?

Dr Spot|Review

Soap&Glory Dr Spot – Β£8.00

Now I am quite lucky to not get too many blemishes but occasionally if i’ve been wearing a lot of make up and had a few late nights my skin starts to rebel and a couple of pesky white heads will pop up. Dr Spot by Soap&Glory is perfect for those sneaky spots that pop up due to dirt and grease etc. I don’t think it works too well on more hormonal spots but you could try.

The clear gel which you can apply twice daily is full of salicylic and lactic acid which helps to reduce the spot and sooth irritation. I love putting it on in the evening and then waking up with noticeably reduced spots. At only Β£8.00 it’s a bargain!

M.A.C Modesty|Review

M.A.C Cremesheen Lipstick in Modesty.

I love M.A.C lipsticks – who doesn’t and this little one was the first M.A.C lipstick that I ever bought. Its a gorgeous pinky brown with a hint of mauve so perfect for a neutral loving girl like myself. As a cremesheen its got great pigmentation with moisture as well so perfect for everyday wearing. I have quite pigmented lips but the colour still shows up great on them.

If you are looking for a natural everyday lipstick then this is the one for you, with a slight vanilla scent its perfect to just pop in your handbag. I pop a little bit of gloss over the top to make it more evening appropriate.

London Legs|OOTD

Playsuit – Miss Selfridge|Shoes – Kurt Geiger|Earrings – Accessorize (similar).

Oh the joys of a playsuit, all the fanciness of a dress but without the worry of revealing yourself at any point during the night. What I love the most about this playsuit is that it looks like a cute little two piece but is just an all in one. Seeing as I was out in London clubbing I thought it was only appropriate that i get the big boys out in the form of my Miss KG Minnie heels. These will make anyones legs look like a million dollars – maybe not whilst your running for the last train home! I didn’t want to go full out with accessorises so just put on some big earrings and a few rings to lift the outfit.

Are you a playsuit lover?

Take me to Neverland

This is the last of the birthday posts I promise.

Dress- ASOS|Shoes – ASOS.

I have always vowed never to grow up, I can be an adult when I need to be but being a child at heart never hurt anyone so for my 22nd birthday party I gathered my bestest girl pals and had a Neverland themed dinner. I was of course the feisty Tinkerbell.

My wonderful mum did the table decorations for me so all I had to do was cover myself with pixie dust and wait for my band of lost boys to show up.

This motley crew of lovelies have stuck by my side through so much and I couldn’t be more grateful to them.

We started with two melting pots of Cambert before moving onto Chicken stuffed with Chorizo whilst we sipped on Mojitios.

I had such a lovely birthday which was rounded off by this fabulous cake made by K.

Most Loved Make Up Tools

Eylure Eyelash Applicator|Emite Eyelash Curlers|Real Techniques Silicone Gel Liner|MAC 217

Eylure Eyelash Applicator – I love false eyelashes but am still in process of getting good at applying them, this little gizmo is like a large set of tweezers shaped like your eyelid. You pop the falsies into them apply glue and then apply to your lid nice and simple. I picked this up in an Eylure starter kit on ASOS (similar) but if you go to Boots and Superdrug you might find it.

Emite Eyelash Curlers – Everyone (well maybe not everyone but most people) will have a set of eyelash curlers, I only use mine for special occasions but love how they add extra curl to your lashes and are great if you are adding on falsies.

Real Techniques Silicone Gel Liner – I love liquid and gel liner for doing cat flicks and I have found that this Silicone liner is easier to apply as it does’t have any stray hairs making the line shaky. Its also much easier to clean.

MAC 217 Brush – The MAC 217 is probably the most talked about brush between bloggers and until you get it you don’t really understand why. It’s the perfect blending brush for shadows great for both day and night looks.
