Lazy Sundays|OOTD

 Mickey Mouse Shirt – H&M|Cropped Jumper – H&M|Jeans – New Look|Shoes – Converse|Rucksack – DKNY|Sunglasses – H&M

You know its a lazy Sunday when your hair is in a high bun and the boyfriend jeans are one. I love this relaxed preppy look for days off. The star of the show is actually hiding underneath my jumper and its this cute cropped shirt from H&M which is covered in Mickey Mouse faces, I love Disney but find wearing Disney clothing pretty hard to keep ‘sophisticated’ and this cute shirt is the perfect way to have that hint of Disney in my wardrobe. Boyfriend style jeans are not the most flattering style on my legs but they are so comfy that I will let that go. Perfect shoes for a Sunday are Converse – the best shoe for everyday! and then for all my junk my DKNY Rucksack, how this is not covered in dirt yet I do not know!

What is your go to lazy Sunday outfit?

Graduation Dinner Throwback|OOTD

Hat – Topshop(similar)|Shirt – Primark(similar)|Necklace – ASOS|Skort – New Look(similar)|Tights – Primark|Boots – ASOS.

This was taken back in 2014 and was what I wore for my graduation dinner. I thought I had lost the photos but they resurfaced so I thought hey why not post them.

Nothing beats a black chiffon shirt it can automatically make a casual outfit look smart. I tucked it into this super cute floral skort from New Look; I love a skort all the femininity of a skirt with the security of shorts in case you are as clumsy as I am and tend to flash people if you’re not careful. To lengthen my legs a little I donned my favourite black boots from ASOS, they are a really chunky style so add a slightly ‘rough’ edge to what could be quite a preppy outfit. To finish the outfit I popped on my trusty bowler hat from Topshop and added this awesome dinosaur necklace, revealing a little of my inner geek.

Welcome to 2015|OOTD

Hat – Topshop(similar)|Crop Top – New Look(similar)|Kimono – H&M(similar)|Jeans – ASOS|Heels – TkMaxx.

I had plans for New Years Eve for the first time in four years, I was over excited to say the least. Dinner at the local pub and then on to drinks so I wanted a party outfit that wasn’t overly dressy but still a little bit special. The ASOS Ridley Skinny Jeans are the comfiest jeans ever so are perfect for any dinner parties and paired with the colour pop shoes make your legs look longer than they ever have before.

It may be winter but I whipped out a crop top, I wasn’t showing leg so thought stomach would be second best. This cute textured crop top is from New Look and I love the bandage style. To keep myself a little more covered up I went for this lovely H&M kimono that adds a slight bohemian twist to the outfit and can hide a multitude of sins – starter and a pudding! Accessories wise there is quite a lot going on with the outfit so I just added a trusty bowler hat to finish everything.

What did you wear for NYE?

Christmas Comes But Once A Year…

Santa decided I had been good this year, I was well and truly a very lucky girl this Christmas.

I kicked Christmas off the way it should be started with a G+T (it was past 12 so don’t worry) and a mini chicken pie before cooking up a storm in the kitchen.

Mum and I were in charge of the kitchen this year and although we are not natural cooks we were pretty proud of what we cooked up.

Dress – Missguided|Shoes – ASOS|Tights – Primark|Necklace – Topshop.

I like to get a little dressed up at Christmas and I have been waiting to whip this velvet number out for months. I also couldn’t resist these cute Mickey and Minnie tights from Primark.

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and stuffed yourself silly!

Jeans&T-Shirt Type of Girl|OOTD

Jeans – New Look|T-Shirt – Brandy Melville|Vest – Abercrombie|Boots – River Island(similar).

*I hate winter because I have to take OOTD photos indoors*

I will always be a  jeans and a t-shirt sort of a girl, as much as I love dressing up there is nothing better than sticking on a trusty pair of jeans and a comfy t-shirt. My favourite jeans of the moment are these New Look boyfriend jeans, I love the slightly baggier style on me as it makes it look more relaxed. Brandy Melville make the most amazing t-shirts they are so super soft and I love the cute little slogan on the pockets. Seeing as it’s winter I wanted at least another layer and Abercrombie have the perfect cami’s for layering. Again really soft and with gorgeous patterns making them not just an under layer but part of the outfit. Winter means boots and these worker style ones are some of the comfiest that I own.

1940’s Chic|OOTD

 Playsuit – Alexander McQueen|Shoes – Kurt Geiger.

*Apologies for the boring background the british weather has forced me inside*

I have featured both these shoes and this playsuit on my blog before but I just adore both items that I had to feature them again and this time together (or maybe I have done that before as well :s ) I love the 1940’s and this outfit is a modern twist on the pin up fashion of the time. I also attempted to do a 1940’sish hair and make-up. The McQueen playsuit is so gorgeous and fits like a dream it’s super old but has lasted me so well. It is perfect for both winter and summer  as well as being both smart and casual which is why it’s an essential in my wardrobe. We should all know by now how much I love Kurt Geiger and these cute Minnie Miss KG heels are some of my favourite in my collection. They are really high but super comfortable sadly no longer available but I am sure there are similar ones on their website for this season.
