As a Christmas present the Mr’s parents took us to see the Lion King, going to the theatre outfit wise is a struggle. You don’t want to be too casual because its normally in a fancy theatre, plus it’s often a special occasion but you’re not the queen of England so you don’t need to be in a ball gown and tiara which means you have to create a smart casual outfit!

This skirt is my fail safe for any outfit and then I dressed it up a little with heeled boots and a slightly lower cut neck line than I wear everyday. I hadn’t worn this long line waistcoat for ages but I love the texture of it so added it in to give the outfit something a little different.
