Just give me a glass of pimms and a cocktail dress

Apologies in advance for the mismatch quality of the photos in this post; some are taken on my camera phone.

The end of university was marked by my last ever Summer Ball; I did a post about my second year one which you can read about here. Most universities have some sort of end of year party and mine really does the full works so I thought I would share some snaps from the day with you.

Hog Roast|Food Tents|Professor Green.

During the day there are food and drink stalls, a fun fair along with live music. This years daytime artists where Professor Green and Scouting for Girls who were both pretty darn awesome but most of my time was spent sipping on Pimms, eating a hog roast and riding the waltzers.

Crop top – H&M|Jeggings – New Look via ASOS|Coat – Jack Wills.

Excuse this overly posed photo of me. Day wear is pretty casual normally with a festival feel but it was cold and rainy for some of it so I opted for my fail safe outfit of high waisted jeggings and a crop top. I did change into my wellies before I actually left the house because the grass was muddy!

Evening Fun Fair|#summerballselfie|Me being Silly|Stooshe.

The evening is all about getting glam and some people go all out, I changed my dress choice about three times. The evening consists of more live music as well as a silent disco and DJ’s. I saw Stooshe, Wretch 32 and Rizzle Kicks. Rizzle Kicks were amazing! I’m not the party animal I used to be and 1am saw me tucking into some nachos before grabbing a cup of tea and snuggling into bed.

Dress – Topshop.

I’m going to do a more detailed outfit post so make sure you are following my blog to get all the details on this sunshine dress!

How does your university celebrate the end of year?

Peace Out and Pixie Dust XO
