In The Nude …

I used to think that nude lipsticks just meant concealer lips, however I then discovered the more earthy pink and brown toned nudes which I love wearing day to day. They still add colour to your lips but without being too in your face. I have selected my top 5 nude lipsticks to show y’all.

Rimmel Moisture Renew in Nottinghill Nude.Β –Β This is a gorgeous slightly sheer brownish nude, you can layer it up to pack more of a punch on the lips but this is perfect for lazy days. I love the formulaΒ of these lipsticks and Nottinghill Nude is a classic example of the more earthy nudes available.

MAC Cremesheen in Modesty. – This looks super red in the photos but its definitely more of a muted pinkish brown in real life. Lot’s of pigmentation with this lipstick but also super moisturising. My mum describes this as the 90’s nude because apparently this is what everyone was wearing whilst I was growing up.

MAC Cremesheen in Creme D’Nude. – Again the photos are really not doing this baby justice-it looks orange in the bullet photo oops. My only ‘concealer lips’ nude this is perfect with a smokey eye, but doesn’t totally blank out your lips so could be worn in a day look as well. Again the formula gives great coverage whilst also moisturising.

Clinique Long Last Lipstick in Blushing Nude. – This is a nude with definite pink under tones, its a couple of shades lighter than Modesty by MAC. This is a beautiful creamy lipstick with amazing pigmentation. This is my favourite out of all five, mainly due to the formulation.

Clinique Chubby Stick in Whole Lotta Honey. – Again this looks super red in the photo but this lip colour is the brownest nude of my collection. I adore the chubby sticks because you can just swipe and go, they have a good coverage and are super moisturising. Whole Lotta Honey is the perfect everyday colour and something you don’t need a mirror for whilst applying.
