London plus Architecture plus Social Media sounds like my idea of heaven and that’s exactly what the Sensing Spaces exhibition at the Royal Academy is all about. I happened to have a little spare time whilst up in town so booked myself a ticket and dived into this wonderful exhibition. I am very much apart of the generation who will Instagram and Tweet all the important and exciting things and you can either hate me or like me for it it’s not going to stop me and this exhibition was really into it. The atrium was full of iPads which you could leave your comments and read more into the exhibition and on the walls was the hashtag so you could tweet as you went – like I said you are either going to love it or hate it.
The exhibition doesn’t have a set route you can just wander into these huge rooms which have amazing installations within them. I felt a little like Alice in Wonderland walking through these wacky and wonderful rooms. The exhibition is some of the most creative architects from around the world to give a new perspective on architecture.
I walked round twice and would have happily walked round again if I hadn’t had to rush off to a casting! The exhibition closes on April 6th so I would highly recommend if you have a spare couple of hours to book a ticket and experience it for yourself.
Peace Out and Pixie Dust XO
