Welcome to the Commute | Make-Up on the GO

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram you may have noticed that I have been on trains and buses rather lot the past couple of days and that’s because I have been a busy bee up in London. Not being a morning person normally means I flee out of the door with only half a face of make up on or none at all and end up doing it on a busy commuter train. I have discovered this is not easy but not wanting to sacrifice any time in my bed I have come up with four products which I can use on the train and still look presentable when I turn up at my destination.IMG_2832Benefit Big Beautiful Eyes, Clinique Chubby Stick, Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara, Revlon Colourburst Lipbutter.
Wait what there are three high end products in this post Kate did you rob a bank?
First up is Benefit Big Beautiful Eyes. This has a concealer within the palette and a mirror so pretty much is the basis for my commute make up. The concealer covers up my dark circles and any pesky blemishes and then if I need to look extra fancy there are three shadows for me to create different looks! If it’s one of those mornings where I look like a zombie it’s time to whack on the party mascara even though I am off to a meeting rather than a club! Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume makes my lashes huge and makes me look instantly wide awake!
As always I have two lip products the first is my Clinique Chubby Stick in Whole Lotta Honey, this is just so moisturising, easy to apply and a gorgeous neutral colour when I have to go to my more serious things up in town. The Revlon Lipbutter in Candy Apple is also really moisturising but a much brighter more fun lipstick which is perfect if my face needs a pick me up.
Doing your make up on the train is not ideal and some people really don’t like you doing it but sometimes needs must!
Peace Out and Pixie Dust XO

  1. Ahahaha, I tried doing my eyeliner on the train two summers ago, that didn’t turn out well ๐Ÿ˜€ Must admit it never crossed my mind to follow you on twitter, I am a bad subbie :-s but I followed you now! ^_^

    1. Hahaha yeah practice makes perfect although I tend to try and not have to do eye liner on the train! Thanks for the Twitter follow!
